Anthony Joshua is a cool, calm and collected character in the boxing ring – but the world heavyweight champion has been made to look barking mad by comedy duo Ant and Dec.
In a hilarious linkup with the pair for popular show Saturday Night Takeaway, Joshua takes part in a sketch called “Get Out Of Me Ear!” where he is told what to say and do through an earpiece when greeting people in his former amateur boxing club Finchley.
And the 30-year-old has posted a hilarious clip of the sketch on social media before it airs in full this weekend.

AJ first greets a woman named Yvette and is made to ask if she is a vet, and when she replies “No” he is told to respond by calling himself a “dawg”.
Ant and Dec then tell him to start barking like a dog, leaving Yvette absolutely puzzled as she awkwardly giggles through the cringeworthy situation.
Joshua is then shown talking with another fan who happens to be wearing one of his T-shirts.

The unified heavyweight chief is told by Ant and Dec to blow his own trumpet, first pointing out that the fan appears to be nervous before bragging: “It’s only the heavyweight champion of the world you’re talking to”.
Ant and Dec were left in stitches behind the scenes, cracking up as Joshua makes himself look foolish in the gym.
The former Olympian posted a picture with the duo in a boxing ring with the caption: “I, Anthony Joshua, promise to do what @antanddecsay”.

Another man who will be hoping to work his way into Joshua’s head is Tyson Fury.

He sent a message to AJ on iFL TV: “You’re a lovely young man, you’ve got the belts. But I don’t think you’re a true fighting man.
