A super fight between Manny Pacquiao and Conor McGregor has moved a step closer after Pacquiao inked a deal with McGregor's team, Paradigm Sports Management.
Before returning to UFC, McGregor claimed he was close to signing a deal to fight boxing legend Pacquiao.
His long-time management firm have now announced the signing of Pacquiao, 40, ahead of the latter stages of his career as they take charge of his "commercial and competitive endeavours".
The deal brings the pair closer together and increases the chances of closing negotiations over a fight in 2020.
Announcing the deal on social media, Paradigm Sports Management said: "We’re very excited to announce that Manny Pacquiao has signed with PSM for full service representation!
"Manny is one of the greatest boxers of all time & we look forward to working with Arnold, Ping and the rest of the team back in Manila to maximize his historic career."
“I am proud to partner with Paradigm Sports Management and am excited for the opportunities that Audie Attar and PSM have to offer,” Pacquaio said.

“One thing I want everyone to remember is to always think positively. Never think negatively; that is the beginning of your downfall. Everything is possible.”
McGregor responded to the news, writing: "Welcome to the team Emmanuel" with talk he could be an opponent for a return to the boxing ring.
The Irish superstar, who won his return against Donald Cerrone last month, was beaten by Pacquiao's old rival, Floyd Mayweather Jr, in a money-spinning bout back in 2017, opening the door to further cross-over fights.
