Kansas is unanimous No. 1 in USA TODAY Sports men’s basketball poll

There is unanimity at the top of the USA TODAY Sports men’s basketball coaches poll for the first time in the wild 2019-20 season.

Kansas retains the No. 1 ranking for a second consecutive week. The Jayhawks, who have won 14 games in a row, claimed all 32 first-place votes after Baylor lost to TCU over the weekend. The Bears, meanwhile, slip two spots to No. 4. Gonzaga is back up to No. 2, leapfrogging No. 3 Dayton by a single poll point. San Diego State continues to round out the top five.

Florida State, Maryland and Louisville complete the top 10 as Duke slips to four positions to 11th following a pair of road losses during the week.
