Formula One star Lando Norris has confirmed model Luisinha Oliveira as his girlfriend following months of speculation by fans.
The McLaren driver confirmed his romance with the Portuguese fashion model on Tuesday by posting a picture of the couple kissing in the Dubai desert with the caption: “My sunshine.”
The 22-year-old had shut down numerous attempts by fans and interviewers to divulge information about his love life before finally going public with his relationship with Oliveira, 22.
And in posting the picture to his 4.7 million Instagram followers, fans have rushed to the comments section of the British driver’s post as well as Twitter to rejoice at the news.
One fan in particular gushed over the picture: “Well this is just the cutest post I’ve ever seen.”
Another added: “Wholesome content we love to see.”
A third said: "Get in there Lando,” referencing the famous line by Lewis Hamilton’s Mercedes race engineer whenever the Brit secures a victory.
Former McLaren teammate and current Ferrari ace Carlos Sainz also joined in with the furore, commenting: “It’s official,” much to the delight of fans.
Others joked that Norris’ millions of supporters would be “heartbroken” at the news.
One fan wrote: “And suddenly thousands of heartbreaks through-out the world all happened at the same time.”

Norris’ 2022 appears to be off to a great start, having had plenty to cheer about in 2021 as he finished sixth in the drivers’ standings.
The youngster secured three podiums last campaign as well as a pole in qualifying at the Russian Grand Prix, where he was unfortunately blighted by heavy rainfall.
He will be looking to secure his first ever race win in F1 in the upcoming season.
