Retiring F1 star Kimi Raikkonen’s wife is stunning Finnish fitness model

When Kimi Raikkonen sees the chequered flag on Sunday afternoon, he will bring down the curtain on a glistening career.

Raikkonen has one World Drivers Championship to his name, 21 wins, and over 100 podium finishes.

The Finn is the last winner of the championship who isn't English or German.

But when the Iceman crosses the finish line for the last time at the Abu Dhabi GP, there won't be a more emotional person in the stands than Minttu Raikkonen.

Raikkonen's wife is a former air hostess but studied to be a personal trainer and later a Finnish fitness model.

Minttu isn't Raikkonen's first wife, and F1's playboy previously dated Miss Scandinavia 2001, Jenni Dahlman.

However, the pair filed for divorce in 2013, and Raikkonen began dating Minttu shortly afterwards.

Raikkonen was wearing the red of Ferrari at that point, and Minttu was a regular in paddock supporting her husband, and she still is now the Iceman turns out for Alfa Romeo.

The couple have two kids, Robin and Rianna, and they married in a lavish ceremony in Siena, Italy, in August 2016.

"I think it’s true my wife will be more emotional about it," said Raikkonen ahead of the Abu Dhabi GP.

"Honestly I doubt that the kids will care, either way, there are things their father does that are far more interesting!

"They like coming to a warm country and other things but it’s nice to have them here."

However, Raikkonen was more subtle about his emotions heading into Sunday: "I don’t know, I doubt it but you never know."
