Liverpool ’s hopes of becoming the second team in history to complete a Premier League ‘invincibles’ campaign are over after their 3-0 defeat at Watford tonight – leaving Arsenal and Jurgen Klopp fans absolutely delighted.
The Reds slumped to their first loss of the season in their 28th outing, with Ismaila Sarr’s brace and Troy Deeney’s strike handing Nigel Pearson and co an unexpected set of three points.
The slip-up will only delay Manchester City ’s side’s coronation as champions, as they still find themselves an astonishing 22 points clear at the top of the table.
But after avoiding defeat for so long, they will be disappointed not to go down in history as only the second side to remain unbeaten throughout an entire Premier League campaign.

And the Gunners faithful have taken to Twitter tonight to celebrate Liverpool’s shortcoming at Vicarage Road.
