Arsenal are interested in signing Club Brugge striker Noa Lang in the January transfer window, according to reports.
Lang has caught the eye in the Belgian top flight with three goals and four assists in 10 appearances so far this season.
The 22-year-old’s decent start to the campaign follows an impressive debut season for Brugge in which he recorded 17 goals and 11 assists.
Arsenal shelled out around £150million in the summer to sign Ben White, Aaron Ramsdale, Martin Odegaard, Nuno Tavares, Albert Lokongo and Takehiro Tomiyasu.
But they failed to bring in a new striker, meaning a move for Lang in January could be on the cards and Belgian outletVoetbal24reports the Gunners are preparing a £25m bid for the Dutch international.
Arsenal were reportedly going to wait until the end of the season, when both Eddie Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazette are out of contract.
But with AC Milan also keeping a close eye on Lang, the Gunners have sped up their timeline.
If Lang does get a move to north London then Mikel Arteta will have to manage his fiery demeanour, which raised its head at his former club, Ajax.
Ajax manager Erik ten Hag clashed with the young forward on the touchline after he scored in a 4-3 Dutch Cup victory over Telstar in December 2019.

Despite the win, Ten Hag was angry with Lang for disobeying instructions from captain Dusan Tadic and was pictured aiming an angry outburst at the forward.
“You need to shut your mouth and just listen!” he said. “Stop it, it’s our match, not yours!”
A month later Lang was loaned to FC Twente for the remainder of the 2019/20 season before he moved on to Brugge in the summer.
“My departure was certainly not only the fault of Ajax,” Lang later toldDe Telegraafin January 2021.
“I have had my stupid moments, I did not behave well. It is also largely my fault."

Although he has a temper – and does not have much time for Ten Hag – Lang is very talented and his current manager Philippe Clement recently admitted the club will struggle to keep hold of him for long.
“I’m realistic when it comes to things like this,” Clement said.
“If there’s an impossible-to-refuse offer for him, we won’t be able to stop him in January.
“I’d rather he finish the season, win a title and be important. But we’ll see what happens in January.”
