Football fans have claimed Brighton were 'robbed in broad daylight' when they travelled to Chelsea on Sunday afternoon.
Brighton thought they had been handed a late penalty at Stamford Bridge, giving them the chance to fire level, when Levi Colwill was deemed to have handled the ball. Referee Craig Pawson went over to the VAR monitor, overturning his decision and awarding Chelsea a drop ball.
However, fans were baffled as to why Brighton weren't then awarded a corner. It was the another decision that left Brighton fans furious, with some claiming Chelsea star Moises Caicedo should have walked and the Blues' earlier penalty was never a foul.

"Brighton robbed in broad daylight. Caicedo should’ve been off. It was never a pen for Chelsea, it was shoulder to shoulder. Brighton had a pen overturned and didn’t even get a corner. Changing rules now," one fan fumed.
"Brighton have been absolutely robbed by the officiating in this game, @premierleague officials are a joke which is nothing new," a second said. And another added: "These referees are f***ing horrendous, something has to be done man. Can’t even get a simple corner right."

Chelsea had been the better side in the opening 45 minutes, but Brighton grew into the game after Conor Gallagher was sent off – shortly after Facundo Buonanotte pulled one back for the Seagulls.
However, any momentum that Roberto De Zerbi's side had built up was quickly derailed when a lengthy VAR check awarded Chelsea a penalty. Brighton fans were furious the shoulder-to-shoulder challenge was awarded as a spot-kick.
And their anger only boiled when Caicedo remained on the pitch despite committing a second-bookable offence.
Joao Pedro pulled one back for the Seagulls, but it was too little too late.
Pawson overturned their penalty call deep into added time when replays revealed the ball had struck the face of the Chelsea defender – allowing the Blues to claim all three points.
