Celebrating in STYLE! Pogba joins Burna Boy hours after Man United win

Celebrating in STYLE! Paul Pogba dances on stage with Burna Boy at Parklife festival just hours after helping Manchester United to thumping 4-1 victory over Newcastle

  • Manchester United steamed to a 4-1 victory over Newcastle on Saturday
  • Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice on debut as Paul Pogba notched two assists
  • The star then hopped over to Parklife festival where his friend Burna Boy was on
  • Pogba got on stage to show his moves on a perfect day for the Frenchman

Paul Pogba swapped his football boots for dancing shoes after Manchester United’s thumping victory over Newcastle, jumping on stage with Burna Boy to celebrate.

Cristiano Ronaldo powered the Red Devils to victory with a double on his debut, before Pogba setup Bruno Fernandes and Jesse Lingard’s strikes to wrap up an unforgettable day at Old Trafford.

Pogba then shot across from Manchester’s west side to the north and Heaton Park, where the Parklife festival was in full swing on day one.

Paul Pogba had another superb game as Manchester United beat Newcastle on Saturday

Pogba finished the match with two assists and then went to join Burna Boy on stage at Parklife

Burna Boy, the Grammy award-winning Nigerian Afrobeats powerhouse, was in the Old Trafford crowd on Saturday watching United romp to victory before his show.

The 30-year-old posted a shot of himself watching the match in a 2021-22 United home shirt with No 23 and his name written across the back.

He said: ‘Watched my brother kill it! @paulpogba.’

Burna Boy was still wearing the kit hours later on stage as he danced alongside Pogba, whose beaming grin revealed just how much has changed at Old Trafford.

Pogba has endlessly flickered from staying to going since joining the 20-time Premier League champions back in 2016 for a world record fee, with reports linking him to Juventus and PSG as recently as this summer.

The Frenchman played his first match alongside Cristiano Ronaldo as the icon scored twice

Following the arrival of Ronaldo, a promising second-place finish last season and playing within a squad which appears galvanised under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Pogba looks to have turned the tide.

The World Cup winner has started the season in stunning form, with four assists on the opening day setting the tone. Another two on Saturday has brought him to seven after just four matches.

Solskjaer will be hoping Ronaldo’s presence finally unlocks the Frenchman’s boundless potential, having failed to set the league alight in the way his incredible Juventus spell promised.

United sat top of the league and unbeaten as Pogba danced away on stage, only leading fellow title favourites Chelsea on goals scored.
