Everton fans were left with their head in their hands on Tuesday evening as Amadou Onana fluffed his lines from the penalty spot.
Onana stepped up to take a spot-kick during the Toffees' Carabao Cup clash with Fulham. The midfielder stuttered his run-up – before letting loose a tame shot, which was easily saved by Bernd Leno.
And as Sean Dyche's side crashed out of the tournament, Everton fans were left fuming. "We lost because Onana tried to take a 'drippy' penalty," one fumed.

"Hopefully Dyche pulls Onana to one side & has a word with him over the pen," a fourth replied. And another added: "I can accept nearly every mistake in football without getting angry but I reckon I’d chin Onana for that in the dressing room…"
