Gary Neville brings out trademark ‘oooh’ as Mikel Arteta risks touchline trouble

Gary Neville's signature commentary tone came out in full during Tottenham's north London clash against Arsenal as a cheeky Mikel Arteta risked the wrath of Dejan Kulusevski.

The Gunners boss grabbed the ball as it bounced off the pitch with Spurs looking to counter, rolling it away from the forward who gave him a telling look.

Anticipating some anger as Arteta smiled before Arsenal took all three points, Neville moaned: "OOOOOHHH." While on co-commentary duty alongside Martin Tyler with social media split over his murmuring.

One fan wrote: "Neville making noises because Mikel through the ball away? He’s so desperate."

A second said: "Why does Gary Neville do that stupid 'ooooh' thing? Proper weird."

Arsenal were already winning 2-0 at the time of the incident, which brought a telling smile to the face of Arteta, with Hugo Lloris scoring an own-goal before Martin Odegaard drilled home a second.

Antonio Conte's tactics were questioned by home fans throughout with Kane having to fill in at left-back with Arsenal pressure building.

Arsenal went into the game looking to go eight points clear of Manchester City at the top of the table, with Tottenham remaining five points behind fourth place.
