Copenhagen forward Elias Achouri has told Manchester United's Hannibal Mejbri he will try and 'kill' them when they face off in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
The Danish side travel to Old Trafford for a game that promises to be an emotional encounter following the passing of Sir Bobby Charlton over the weekend. United faced off against Sheffield United just hours after the news broke, claiming a 2-1 away win over the Blades at Bramall Lane thanks to a Diogo Dalot strike.
Achouri, 24, and 20-year-old Mejbri are Tunisian international team-mates who have a good relationship. However, they will be putting friendship aside when they face off on Tuesday night.

And ahead of the game, Achouri has revealed Mejbri has told him not to "kill" his Man United team-mates, with the Copenhagen forward adding: "I have to … give it a try."
"It will be a huge moment for me, one of the greatest in my career," explained Achouri speaking to Danish outlet Tipsbladet. "I need to stay focused and not let it get into my head. I'm a professional and I'm going to Old Trafford to help the team and get a great result for the club."

"He [Hannibal] told me to chill a bit and not kill their players. I told him that I have to or at least give it a try." Despite the gulf in talent between the two squads, Achouri also revealed he has told his fellow Tunisian international that Copenhagen are heading to Old Trafford believing they can pick up three points against United in Group A.
He added: "I told Hannibal that we are going to win the match. I think we are going to exchange shirts after the match because he is my friend. It is going to be a cool moment for both of us.”

"I called Hannibal after the draw for the group stages and during the international break we talked about the match as well, so it will be exciting. I know him very well from the national team and both of us grew up in France, so we have a really good connection."
