Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho has admitted that he feels sorry for Frank Lampard after he was sacked by Chelsea today – but he is not tempted to pick up the phone to his former player.
“I don’t think Frank wants to speak to me or anyone outside of his family and his friends,” Mourinho said.
“Of course I feel sorry. But this is the brutality of modern football.”
