Jude Bellingham is a player in demand. And the Borussia Dortmund midfielder can expect offers from both Manchester United and Liverpool next summer, if the latest reports are to be believed.
The 18-year-old England international is reportedly centre of an £80million transfer plan for Liverpool next summer, according to a report in the Daily Star.
But Bellingham is also still interesting Man Utd, who see the central midfielder as the perfect long-term replacement for Paul Pogba.
Pogba’s United contract is up next summer, with the France international yet to sign an extension and widely linked with a move to Real Madrid or Paris Saint-Germain in 2022.
But while Bellingham has been earmarked as a potential replacement, United are more likely to bid big for one the youngster’s Dortmund colleagues.
The Star say United is still on the radar of United but that the club will concentrate on his Dortmund team-mate Erling Haaland next summer instead.
Former United midfielder Roy Keane was hugely impressed with what he saw from Bellingham in England’s midfield during the 4-0 win over Andorra at the weekend. But Keane also urged for a caution on pigeonholing Bellingham too early in his career.
“We have to be careful we don’t label him as a certain type of player,” Keane told ITV.
“He should be able to do everything and from what I’ve seen of him so far he has all that, he has quality.
“We know over the next few years if he’s ready to step up to the next level, playing week in week out for Dortmund, it’s natural he’ll only get better.”

And Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has been full of his praise for the youngster after joining up with him again in the England squad over the last two weeks.
“He’s a fantastic player,” Henderson told Sky Sports.
“Even at such a young age he looks ready to play in the big games. I watch him for Dortmund and the way he performs is outstanding.
“A year down the line he is only going to get better so he could have a big influence.”

Bellingham, who joined the German club from Birmingham City last summer, is said to likely be tempted by a return to England.
The 18-year-old has been a revelation at Dortmund, already racking up 32 Bundesliga appearances and excelling in the club’s Champions League campaign last season.
And the youngster has already racked up eight full England caps, as well as being part of the squad that reached the final of Euro 2020 earlier this summer.
