Jurgen Klopp has disagreed with Jamie Carragher over their opinions of James Milner's performance for Liverpool against Manchester City.
Phil Foden regularly had James Milner – who was playing at right-back with Trent Alexander-Arnold unavailable – on his heels during the clash.
And the former England international produced one of the talking points of the game when he tripped Bernardo Silva, while already on a yellow, but he avoided seeing the red card.
Unsurprisingly, Klopp decided to hook Milner for Joe Gomez shortly after.
But speaking after the full-time whistle, Klopp revealed he was happy with the 35-year-old's performance on Sunday afternoon.
"Pep [Guardiola] got a little bit outraged over that," the German told Sky Sports after the full-time whistle.
Guardiola would himself receive a yellow card shortly afterwards for his continued protests, even after Mohamed Salah had found the net.
"I didn't see, but I saw Pep's reaction obviously, but I didn't know exactly why he did that.
"Milly did incredibly well first half, and it is not easy to defend these guys."

However, Klopp's opinion was vastly different to Liverpool legend Carragher's.
"Yes, he does [need more help] I mean it’s a big decision for Jurgen Klopp whether he changes him," Carragher told the Sky Sports studio at half-time.
"He’s had the yellow card which will be a problem for him, he's found it tough as you would against Manchester City."
Carragher continued: "Trent misses out then you’ve got a midfield player at 35, 36 playing at right-back so it’s just showing today."
A win for either side would have propelled them to the top of the table, but the draw leaves Chelsea top.
Instead, the result leaves the sides second and third respectively.
