Kieran Trippier’s blazing row with Newcastle fan caught on new close-up footage

New and explosive footage of Kieran Trippier's argument with a Newcastle United supporter has been doing the rounds on social media.

The England international was seen arguing with a travelling fan after Eddie Howe's side were beaten 2-0 by Bournemouth. A brace from Dominic Solanke secured the Cherries' second Premier League victory of the campaign and a second consecutive loss this week for Newcastle, who also lost 2-0 to Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.

With emotions running high after a frustrating evening, Trippier could be heard having a heated debate with a fan in the stands of the Vitality Stadium. However, hours after the footage initially made itself known on social media, a closer view of the row has since emerged.

A frustrated Trippier could be heard saying to the fan: "So, the lads aren't giving everything? How many injuries have we got? How many injuries have we got?" He also asked the fan for a response, before a steward and midfielder Joelinton both stepped in to usher him away.

After the match, the former Atletico Madrid defender did not try to hide the awkward exchange in his post-match interview. "I was just having a chat with one of them, I said we are giving everything," Trippier said after the match.
