Leeds have been busy in the summer transfer window as they prepare for their second season back in the Premier League.
Boss Marcelo Bielsa steered the Whites to an impressive ninth-placed finish last term after promotion from the Championship.
The Argentine has since bolstered the ranks at Elland Road with no less than six summer signings – although some are unlikely to feature in his senior set-up.
Amari Miller, Sean McGurk, Jack Harrison, Junior Firpo and Lewis Bate have all made the switch to Yorkshire this summer, with Norwegian youth international goalkeeper Kristoffer Klaesson joining them on Saturday.
Daily Star Sport rounds up all the latest transfer news from Elland Road.
Leeds snap up Norwegian stopper
The Whites have sealed the signing of 20-year-old goalkeeper Klaesson.
The young Norwegian has penned a four-year deal at Elland Road, arriving from Norwegian outfit Valerengia for an undisclosed fee reported to be in excess of £1m.
Klaesson has already made 38 appearances for his country at youth level through various age groups and is expected to challenge Illan Meslier for the number one spot.
Meslier impressed in his maiden Premier League season, but will now face fresh competition for his starting slot.
Bielsa's midfield mission
Where will Leeds finish this year? Comment below
According to The Athletic, Whites boss Bielsa is still in the market to snap up a midfielder.
Leeds recently missed out on loan target Conor Gallagher, with the Chelsea midfielder selecting a season-long stay at Crystal Palace ahead of a stint at Elland Road.
That snub has left Bielsa having to go back to square one, with an addition to the heart of the Leeds midfield now thought to be a priority with just a month remaining of the transfer window.
£30m Premier League star bid
According to journalist Duncan Castles , Leeds have tabled a mega £30m bid for Wolves star Adama Traore.
Speaking on the Transfer Window Podcast, Castles lifted the lid on Bielsa's big bucks move for the speed machine – who has been on the Whites' transfer radar before.
However, it's likely that Leeds will face huge competition from Premier League rivals Liverpool, who have also been tracking the 25-year-old ace for some time.
Leeds director of football Victor Orta knows the winger well – he was the driving force behind Middlesbrough signing Traore from Aston Villa when he was at the club back in 2016.
But Castles has warned that the Whites' potential club-record bid could be doomed to fail.
He said: "My guidance is that Adama is not interested in moving there [to Leeds] and sees himself at, rather than making a sideways move in the Premier League, he wants to move up to a club with Champions League status."
"Or at least very realistic chances of reaching the Champions League soon."
