Leeds United ace Raphinha has dropped a big hint about his future in a message to the club’s supporters. The winger has been a sensation since joining Leeds last summer and has been linked with Liverpool.
Leeds paid in the region of £17million to land Raphinha from Rennes 12 months ago and he was key to their excellent form in the 2020-21 season.
The Brazilian scored seven goals in 35 appearances as the Lilywhites finished ninth in their first Premier League campaign since 2004.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side played an eye-catching style of football and Raphinha was at the heart of most of their impressive performances.
It took just a year for the 24-year-old to be linked with Europe’s biggest clubs.

Several reports have speculated that Liverpool could target Raphinha as they search for a new forward.
It has been suggested that Reds boss Jurgen Klopp could benefit from another wide player, especially after an injury crisis swept through the German’s squad last season.
But Raphinha has hinted that his immediate future lies with Leeds.

In a piece for The Players’ Tribune, he said that he could not wait to continue playing in front of the Elland Road crowd.
He scored his first goal in front of supporters in the club’s 2-2 draw with Everton last weekend. Given that their next home game is September 12, after the transfer deadline, it seems that he wishes to remain at the club.
However, Leeds’ opponents on that day are Liverpool.
“I’m so happy here. Everyone has welcomed me with open arms: Marcelo, the owner, the players, the staff, the fans,” he wrote.
“A friend of mine sent me the song. I couldn’t understand all of it, but to get my own song really is a dream.
“All I could think about last season was to play in front of a packed Elland Road.
“It was very difficult for me to arrive to empty stadiums, because the fans were such a huge part of what made me want the Prem.
“But to all you Leeds fans, I want to say that even then I felt your love and affection. Honestly, I cannot put into words how grateful I am for the way you welcomed me to the club.
“As for the game against Everton last weekend, well, it was worth the wait. That noise, man. It was just like I remembered it. It was everything I hoped it would be.
“I already can’t wait to play in front of you guys again. You’ll cheer us on. We’ll put on a show. And I’ll do my best to make you smile.”
