Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham, and Reds fans will be given further hope after the youngsters Frank Lampard or Steven Gerrard answer.
The 18-year-old is one of the brightest prospects in world football and the midfielder leave Dortmund in favour of a move to the Premier League next summer.
Bellingham had an impressive first season in Germany – which saw him play 46 times and score four goals – which ended in DFB Pokal triumph.
The midfielder was then called up to Gareth Southgate’s squad for Euro 2020, where he became the youngest-ever player to represent England at a major tournament.
And Liverpool fans will believe they have a chance of signing the England international after a clip emerged of him answering a Gerrard vs Lampard question on social media.
Bellingham can be seen taking part in a quiz with England team-mate and Chelsea defender Reece James in a light-hearted quiz which features on England’s YouTube channel.
For one of the questions, Bellingham asked James: ‘If Jude could swap England shirts with any England player from the past who would it be?’
James thought he knew what his team-mates answer would be Chelsea legend Lampard, but Bellingham quickly corrected the England right-back.
“Frank Lampard?!,” Bellingham said shocked. “Stevie G, bro!”

“Let me tell ya: Frank Lampard, Ashley Young… he used to play for [Aston] Villa. Who put that in? What are you doing?"
Daily Star Sport revealed earlier this month that Bellingham is Jurgen Klopp’s top transfer target next summer and the Reds are prepared to pay a club-record £80million to beat rivals to the deal.
The former Birmingham City midfielder turned down a move to United last summer in favour of a move to Dortmund worth £25m.

However, Liverpool won’t be the only ones after Bellingham, with a number of European football’s elite clubs – including the likes of Manchester City and United – rumoured to be interested in the former Birmingham City midfielder.
But for now though, Bellingham will be hoping to continue his development at Dortmund as he aims to force his way into the England first-team in time for the 2022 World Cup next winter.
