Liverpool have no intention of letting Mohamed Salah leave the club in January, according to reports. The Reds will resist any offers from the Saudi Pro League if they emerge during the winter transfer window.
Liverpool rejected an offer worth around £150million for Salah in the summer. Al-Ittihad were determined to sign the Egypt superstar and were even ready to offer as much as £200m.
Salah’s contract at Liverpool expires in 2025, so a decision will soon need to be made on his future. He has not let speculation affect his performances on the pitch, with his tally of 10 Premier League goals this season only bettered by Erling Haaland.
Jurgen Klopp has dismissed any talk of Salah leaving the club every time he has been asked. And it appears Liverpool chiefs are on the same wavelength as their long-serving manager.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano told Kick that Salah will not be leaving under any circumstances in January. Liverpool are sending the same message as they did in the summer that the 31-year-old is not for sale.
The Reds still see Salah as a crucial part of their squad and won’t entertain a mid-season exit. Liverpool are second in the Premier League and hold hopes of a title charge, four years after their last triumph.
Manchester City are currently top of the table but Klopp’s side are just a point behind. Selling their top goalscorer in January would put a huge dent in any chance they have of stopping City from winning a fourth title in a row.
Salah scored his 200th goal in English football in last weekend’s comfortable 3-0 win over Brentford. Earlier this month, Klopp outlined how Salah has not been affected at all by the transfer rumours and says he is loving life at Anfield.

Klopp said: “I don’t know anything about an offer. Mo is here, Mo never came to me and wanted to go. I didn’t think a second about it, to be honest. Yes, he’s here and playing extremely well.
“You can see he enjoys the team a lot. He’s in good shape. On the pitch goalscoring-wise, everyone can see that. Off the pitch, he’s in even better shape.
“I would say he’s really, really positive. He enjoys the company with the boys and sees that there’s a lot of potential and wants to maximise that by getting something out of it. But the other stuff, we never thought about it, and I hope I don’t have to.”
