Manchester United have reportedly enquired about a deal for Stuttgart striker Serhou Guirassy. The 27-year-old is available for as little as £15million due to a release clause in his contract.
Guirassy has had a stunning start to the season in Germany. He has scored 16 Bundesliga goals in just 11 appearances, two of which came as a substitute.
It has already been the most prolific campaign in the Guinea star’s career. United boss Erik ten Hag has already confirmed the club won’t be too busy in the January window.
However, the Red Devils’ difficult start to the season could see them make one or two smart additions. It appears one of those could be Guirassy.

Sky Sport Germany says United have made an enquiry about the striker’s availability. He is said to be among the top targets for the Premier League club ahead of the winter window.
United are yet to strike a verbal agreement, with talks claimed to still be at an early stage. The report says Guirassy is open to holding concrete talks with United regarding a potential January move.
However, the striker would prefer to stay at Stuttgart until the end of the season. Guirassy only joined the German outfit on a permanent deal in the summer.
He had spent last season on loan at Stuttgart, scoring 11 goals in 22 Bundesliga appearances. He only cost around £7.7m but his form has seen his value increase considerably in recent months.

But a release clause in his contract could see him leave for as little as £15m. Speaking this week, Ten Hag claimed United wouldn’t be too busy in January unless they can find the right players to make necessary improvements.
The Dutchman told United We Stand: “I don’t think so – and if so, the approach from United should be that if you can improve your team, then you should do. What we expect from every player coming to Carrington every day is for them to give their maximum, to give their best.
“As a club, you have to look for improvements, so if you can find better and it’s realistic financially and with financial fair play, I think the club has to go with it. But realistically, in relation to the market, most of the time you don’t attract the best players in the winter.
“The top, top players will not leave their clubs in the winter. It’s players who are disappointed, injured or just not the right fit or whatever.”
