Manchester United fans have been left speechless by a moment from brilliance during Brazil's 4-1 win over Uruguay – from Fred.
The midfielder started again for his country – his 10th in the last 12 internationals – and starred in the emphatic victory.
Brazil are already guaranteed to finish top of their Conmebol group but that did not stop them going all out against their South American rivals.
And it was Fred to help the Selecao into a Samba mood when his assist brilliantly found Neymar in the opening 10 minutes.
The United star lofted a ball over that Kevin de Bruyne would have been proud of to find the Paris Saint-Germain forward.
Neymar still had his work cut out after chesting the ball away from goal but from a tight angle the ex- Barcelona ace squeezed one past Fernando Muslera.
And United fans have been shocked by Fred's moment of brilliance and wondering why he cannot do the same at Old Trafford.
One fan said: “This is the annoying thing with Fred he is capable of things like this but it’s the little mistakes he does for united that cost us the most.”
And another wrote: “Where does Fred leave this performance when his playing for us.”
While this fan said: “Get him home asap.”
A fourth tweeted: “Fred man. This is why it’s so important to have a proper DM in our team.
“All our other midfielders can’t do that role properly, they all thrive with another midfielder next to them.”
And a fifth said: “Since when the f*** could he do this."
Due to international laws surrounding Covid, it is unlikely that Fred or Edinson Cavani will feature this weekend against Leicester.
Brazil and Uruguay kicked off in the early hours of Friday morning UK time with United set to face the Foxes within 36 hours.
