FA CUP THIRD ROUND DRAW: Eighth-tier Marine get dream tie at home to Premier League leaders Tottenham as holders Arsenal host Newcastle
- Marine qualified for the FA Cup third round with a goal in the final minute

- Arsenal begin their defence with a tie against Newcastle at the Emirates
- Liverpool will also return to the scene of their 7-2 thrashing by Aston Villa
Marine will take on Tottenham Hotspur in the third round of the FA Cup after becoming only the second eighth division side to get through to this stage.
The Merseyside side beat Havant & Waterlooville with a goal from Niall Cummins in the last minute of extra time to qualify for the third round and will now face Jose Mourinho’s Premier League leaders.
Meanwhile, holders Arsenal begin their defence of the trophy with a home tie against fellow Premier League side Newcastle, with the Gunners aiming for an unprecedented 15th crown.

Manchester United – looking for their first FA Cup since 2016 – host Championship outfit Watford while Liverpool face a trip to Aston Villa, who famously defeated the Anfield side 7-2 at Villa Park earlier this season.
The other all Premier League tie sees Wolves face Crystal Palace, with Manchester City facing Birmingham and last season’s finalists Chelsea hosting League Two Morecambe.
Isthmian League North Division side Canvey Island or National League outfit Boreham Wood will host Millwall, while Wayne Rooney will take his Derby side to sixth-tier Chorley.

Fulham will contest a west London derby with QPR, while Premier League high-flying Leicester will come up against Championship outfit Stoke City.
Everton host Championship Rotherham, while West Brom, Brighton, Sheffield United, Leeds and West Ham all face away ties at Blackpool, Newport County, Bristol Rovers, Crawley Town and Stockport County respectively.
Ties for the FA Cup third round will take place between January 8 and January 11 as the 64 teams begin their journey to appear at Wembley at the end of the season.
