Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher both had cheeky digs at each other after Mino Raiola listed the potential destinations of Erling Haaland next summer.

Raiola revealed that there is a 'big chance' Haaland will pack his bags over the summer.

And while a lot of Europe's top sides will be on red alert for his signature, Raiola failed to mention Liverpool and Manchester United as potential moves.

Raiola said: "Bayern [Munich], Real [Madrid], Barcelona, [Manchester] City – these are the big clubs he can go to."

Both Neville and Carragher fired digs at each other on Sky Sports as United and Liverpool were snubbed.

"Were Liverpool mentioned," Neville quizzed Carragher who snapped back: "No, we don’t need him."

"Oh, Liverpool weren’t mentioned (by Raiola either). Just making sure," causing the Liverpool star to fire back: "You’ve got two 36-year-olds upfront."

Currently, United have Cristiano Ronaldo and Edinson Cavani as their attacking options.

And despite being heavily linked with the Norwegian superstar, a move looks difficult to complete.

Neville continued: "We know how desperately City wanted Harry Kane last summer.

"That didn’t happen. I’m not sure they would now go back to Harry Kane next year just because of what happened.

"I think Haaland is going to be the big story.

"[Kylian] Mbappe, is he gonna leave as well from PSG? That could be the one big switch – he goes somewhere, Haaland goes somewhere, so it’s going to be a big summer in terms of transfers.

"I suspect City will be, not desperate because City don’t do desperate business, but very keen to bring him in.

"And he would be another special player in the Premier League."
