Pictures show Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand being struck by a can of beer as he made his way to Wembley for the Euro 2020 final.
Ferdinand will be part of the BBC's coverage for the clash between England and Italy on Sunday night.
Though the 42-year-old didn't have the smoothest journey, despite having a security guard to escort him through the crowds.
Wearing an England jacket, pictures show Ferdinand being struck on the back of a neck by a can.
Images show splashes of Heineken being sprayed over Ferdinand, though the ex-Red Devils star did eventually make it to the ground.
With BBC's coverage beginning at 6.20pm, Ferdinand tweeted over an hour before the match from inside Wembley.
Posting a picture of himself on his phone, Rio wrote: "Just texting the lads good luck! Come on @England."
Ahead of the game, Ferdinand wrote for BBC: "I've never had so much confidence in England at a tournament as I've had during Euro 2020, and the same applies for Sunday's final. I fancy us strongly against Italy.
