Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel reportedly bought his cleaner a house after being sacked by PSG in December 2020. The German has been a popular figure since his introduction to English football, and Blues fans may be even more enthused about the man they have at the helm after the emergence of a heart-warming story.
Looking back, there was initial uproar from many Chelsea fans when Tuchel took charge, due mostly to the fact that it coincided with the sacking of club icon Frank Lampard.
Sentiments were quickly forgotten, however, when he turned the team’s fortunes around and led them to Champions League glory in May.
Tuchel’s popularity in west London seems to be going from strength to strength with Chelsea starting the season in formidable form.
Everyone at the club will be right behind the team and their boss as they prepare for a huge clash with Manchester City on Saturday.

Their love for the man in the dugout could grow further still in light of a story which has surfaced surrounding his final days in Paris.
According to ESPN, Tuchel’s cleaner had been working extra hours to afford surgery for her son who had a heart issue.
While he paid for the child’s surgery, his generosity did not stop there.
After learning that he was out of a job just before Christmas, he discovered that his cleaner’s biggest dream was to own a house in her native Philippines.

It is an admirable demonstration of character for a man who has been a breath of fresh air since his switch to the Premier League.
Chelsea fans needed little more reason to get behind their manager, although rival clubs could be sick of the sight of him come the end of the season.
Silverware is likely to be hotly contested by the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool and Manchester United, as well as the Blues, who are sure to be right in the mix based on their early-season showings.
Tuchel’s side carry plenty of momentum going into Saturday’s showdown with Guardiola and City.
For one, they beat them three times towards the back end of the last campaign, one of which was in the Champions League final.
Also, they are riding a wave of back-to-back 3-0 Premier League victories against Aston Villa and Tottenham.
If they could build on that by doing a similar job on City, it would be quite the statement.
