Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo has broken his silence on Harry Kane with his future very much up in the air.
The England international has been strongly linked with a move away from north London this summer.
It comes after reports emerged that the forward was looking for a new challenge having spent his entire career with Spurs.
The 27-year-old has grown disillusioned with life at the club having never won a single trophy.
And watching the likes of Kyle Walker, Kieran Trippier and many more leave to land silverware has only rankled harder, and Manchester City are ramping up their efforts to sign him.

"We are very ambitious people. We want to do it well. We count on Harry on that."
City had opened proceedings over a potential transfer this summer after informal talks over a £100m bid were discussed.
Manchester United and Chelsea are interested as well but Tottenham have insisted the Three Lions captain is going nowhere.
For Nuno, it is pivotal he keeps holds of the striker while he also looks to add reinforcements to his squad.
Jules Kounde has been linked with a move from Sevilla but the Frenchman is holding out to eye his options.
"I am here. It is where I want to be. I am so happy," Nuno added.
"We want to make our fans proud. We want them to enjoy our team and our players. We want a good atmosphere and I think they will enjoy. Football has to reflect in the mirror what we want to do. I am sure the fans will enjoy it.
"Each group of players has their own characteristics. I am very proud of the work I did for Wolves. But you have to move forward."
