Herald Sun form analyst Brad Waters runs the rule over Tuesday’s card on the Ballarat Synthetic track.
KEEP YA DISTANCE (Race 4 No. 5 – $2.25)
Keep Ya Distance has improved sharply since trainers Mathew Ellerton and Simon Zahra switched him to synthetic tracks. He’ll push forward and be harder to get past this time.
KISSING GAME (Race 5 No. 3 – $2.25)
Kissing Game is flying on the Ballarat Synthetic track with wins at her last two runs on the course. She rises in weight but rates a great chance to complete a hat trick of wins.
PAPARAZZI QUEEN (Race 6 No. 8 – $11)
Paparazzi Queen is a great each-way chance on her last couple of runs on synthetic tracks. She closed steadily late at Pakenham last time out and the rise to 1400m should suit her.
JUST ABBEY (Race 8 No. 8 – $8.50)
Just Abbey has raced consistently since her maiden win at Ballarat three runs back. She wasn’t far away in a harder race last time out and a drop in class will be perfect for her in the last on Tuesday.

SHE’S ‘N’ EFFORT (Race 7 No. 7 – $23)
She’s ‘N’ Effort made a solid return to racing when fourth first-up at Pakenham last month. She will only be improved for that outing and looks a good each-way chance at odds on Tuesday.
The apprentice is enjoying a profitable winter and that run can continue on Tuesday at Ballarat. LADY CUMBERLAND (Race 2 No. 6 – $2.25), STRAD (Race 3 No. 6 – $2.90), ISKRA (Race 5 No. 8 – $6.50), MEEHNI (Race 6 No. 6 – $3), COSMIC RHAPSODY (Race 7 No. 2 – $4.20), YANKEE LOU (Race 8 No. 6 – $6).
THE WEEK AHEAD

Geelong will be the scene of Friday’s fixture before Flemington and Moe hold Saturday’s cards. Jumps racing will take centre stage on Sunday with the Mosstrooper Steeple at Pakenham while Echuca also races.
